An often-overlooked aspect of any MMA journey is finding the perfect promotion that plays to a fighter’s strengths, in great detail, from their opening Amateur contest to complete professionalism in the life cycle that is combat sports. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest surface scratcher clawing through the daunting quagmire at featherweight for Fury Fighting Championship. An Amateur mixed martial artist since October 2025 and representing ACS Mixed Martial Arts, Tevin Sandoz owns a 2-0 record consisting of one knockout and one decision. He has spent his entire career as an Amateur MMA fighter with Fury Fighting Championship and is 2-0 under their banner with one first-round finish through two outings with the promotion under his belt to show for it. His sole decision win as an Amateur has resulted in a unanimous verdict. The only finish of his journey inside the Amateur ranks has been in a single round with a time of 50 seconds. Sandoz has spent his whole journey in the United States.
In his Amateur MMA debut and promotional debut under the Fury Fighting Championship banner at Fury FC Amateur Series 59, he faced Josephat Betanzos and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision to notch his first decision victory as an Amateur. Then in his second appearance under the Fury Fighting Championship banner at Fury FC 113, Sandoz defeated George Quirie via knockout in round one. The victory secured Sandoz the first knockout win of his Amateur career along with earning back-to-back wins under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. He also picked up his second overall victory as an Amateur mixed martial artist in the process. Like sand slowly sifting through a vial, Sandoz is a prospect who knows the market value of every precious meeting minute once the clock sets to a quickened beat that opponents struggle to step in rhythm with!
