Having their career come full circle in an organization they started their professional career with is often viewed as a fresh beginning on a familiar stage. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a sizzler of the panhandle looking to bring some red river thunder at middleweight for Legacy Fighting Alliance. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2023 and representing Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, David Wright owns a 5-2 record in seven bouts consisting of three knockouts and two submissions. He has never gone to the scorecards during his time inside the professional ranks with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it under his belt over the course of seven total appearances. Wright has fought for various promotions throughout his career as a professional MMA fighter including Peak Fighting and Legacy Fighting Alliance. All of his finishes have been within the distance. He has spent his entire tenure in the United States mostly in his home state of Oklahoma along with Texas. Wright has finished all five of his wins during his professional journey.

At Rage in the Cage OKC 96, he faced Issac Doolittle and defeated him via TKO in round one. Wright submitted Jacoryon Larry in the second round at Peak Fighting Summit Series 2. Then at Peak Fighting 41, he tapped out Niko Nathan in round one via rear-naked choke to score his second submission victory as a professional. Wright knocked out Carson Little sr in the first round at Peak Fighting 45. At Rage in the Cage OKC 106 he defeated Idrees Hamed via technical knockout in round three. The victory secured Wright the third knockout win of his professional career. He also earned his fifth victory overall as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.

In LFA’S return to Oklahoma at LFA 230 on April 3, he will square off against Canada’s John Moore in a middleweight contest. Good luck David!
