As an organization evolves, fighters are always looking for ways to improve by upgrading everything they possibly can to become an even better version of the athlete they once were in hopes of receiving a sizeable slice of the promotional pie in recognition of their continued personal evolution and dedication to an honest professional craft that holds valued life lessons and priceless information on every step of the journey from the opening salvo of glory to the hard luck final shot. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a prince of prodigal judgement ready to issue a kingly anointing in his elevated arrival for Unified MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2024 and representing Xtreme Couture Toronto, Ljae Simminz holds a 4-1 record through five contests consisting of two knockouts, one submission and one decision. He has fought for BTC Fight Promotions and Unified MMA. Simminz is 3-0 under the Unified MMA banner and has spent his whole tenure as a professional MMA fighter in his home country of Canada.  His lone decision victory has resulted in a split decision verdict. All three of Simminz’s finishes over the course of his tenure inside the professional ranks have come inside of three rounds.

In his professional MMA debut at Unified MMA 57, he faced Kris Allard and defeated him via technical knockout in round three. Simminz also defeated Justin Kennedy via TKO in the second round at Unified MMA 59 to pick up his second knockout win as a professional. He defeated Matt Smith in the main event of BTC 27 Bellevegas via a split decision to score his only decision win as a professional.

Then in the opening bout on the main card of Unified MMA 67 at a catchweight of 175 pounds, he submitted Tim Smith via rear-naked choke in round three. The win scored Simminz the first submission victory of his professional career alongside scoring his third finish under the Unified MMA banner. He also earned his fourth overall win as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Even when the warm temperatures arrive, Simminz’s style does not need to be flamethrower flashy to send his competitors into a systematic mode of malfunction in spite of a seasonal swing shift!
