The MMA youth movement in the land down under has certainly spiked interest from the big leagues in recent memory thanks to stars like The Ultimate Fighter season 32 finalist Kaan Ofli and recent Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series graduates Tom Nolan, Cody Haddon and Cameron Rowston raising the bar and elevating Australian expectations in the bigger picture of the overall ceiling from an individual prospective. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a boomerang blazer sending thorns of sharpened agony through the whole hierarchy at featherweight for Eternal MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2023 and representing Lion’s Den Academy, George Mangos sports an 8-1 record in nine bouts consisting of five submissions and three knockouts. He appeared on the season premiere of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season nine in 2025. Mangos has fought for several organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Hex Fight Series and Eternal MMA and has spent the majority of his tenure in his home nation of Australia. He has finished all eight of his victories during his time inside the professional ranks.

In his professional MMA debut, he faced Caleb Miller and tapped him out in round one. Mangos also submitted Aaren McConnell via rear-naked choke in the first round in his promotional debut under the Eternal MMA banner at Eternal MMA 76. Then at Eternal MMA 79, he choked out Brogan Stewart in round one via rear-naked choke. Mangos submitted Justin Van Heerden via flying triangle choke in the third round at Hex Fight Series 31. He choked out Jarrett Wilbraham at Hex Fight Series 32 via rear-naked choke in the second round to score his fifth submission victory as a professional. Mangos knocked out Shochi Tomita in round one at Hex Fight Series 33. He defeated Eathan Thomas at Hex Fight Series 34 via TKO in the first round.

In the main event of Eternal MMA 101, Mangos defeated Van Heerden for the second time via technical knockout in round one to notch the third knockout win of his professional career. He also earned his eighth overall victory as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. At 8-1, Mangos is a prospect whose slick versatility and fire to throw the kitchen sink at twice the power has left audiences large and small, in amazed awe for an encore that packs plenty of punch upon his stage reentry as the latest pride of the Aussie pack to assert where he really belongs!
