Road trips and the long hours in the gym might not always be glamorous when it comes to keeping up with appearances in MMA. Still, many of today’s female leaders in athletics view it as worth the sacrifices when they ultimately emerge victorious. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet the latest Delta dazzler ready to be the straightest shooter amongst the Southern deck in Fury Fighting Championship. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2025 and representing Graham MMA, Devon McDonald owns a 3-1 record in four contests consisting of two decisions and one submission. Both of her decision victories have resulted in unanimous verdicts over the span of three rounds and a timeframe of 15 minutes. McDonald is 1-1 under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. She has fought for Atlas Fights, Empire Fighting Championship and Fury Fighting Championship. The one and only finish of her arc as a professional MMA fighter has been in the opening round. McDonald has spent her whole career in the United States.

In her professional MMA debut at Empire Fighting Championship 30, she faced Laura Turzenski and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision, McDonald submitted Mary Rosenbeck via rear-naked choke in round one at Atlas Fights 60 to score her first submission win as a professional along with her lone finish inside the professional ranks. Then in her second outing under the Fury Fighting Championship banner on the main card of Fury FC 118, she defeated Tayler Kleemoff via unanimous decision. The win earned McDonald the second decision victory of her professional career in addition to scoring her first win under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. She also picked up her third victory overall as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. At 3-1, McDonald is a prime picture of Southern grace even in in a condensed patience package and why betting your stakes on a single draw can backfire if you show your hand at too quick a pace because a sound strategy trumps everything when you hold all the house cards!
