In mixed martial arts, the rewards of a short notice opportunity can carry a greater amount of weight than the overall risk. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a sharpshooter of Stillwater smoke ready to flip the ignition switch as the newest catalyst at flyweight for Peak Fighting. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2024 and representing Elite Combat Sports, Michael Dugan holds a 3-0 record with all three of his victories coming via submission. He also fought for Peak Fighting as an Amateur before turning professional. Dugan has never gone to the scorecards during his arc as a professional MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate and three finishes under his belt to show for it. He is 1-0 under the Peak Fighting banner and has spent his entire career in the United States in his home state of Oklahoma. All of Dugan’s finishes over the course of his time inside the professional ranks overall have been inside the distance with two first-round finishes alongside a single second-round finish through three appearances.
In his professional MMA debut at Martial Combat League 7, he submitted Brendan Clarke in round one. Dugan also tapped out Joe McCormick in the second round at XFN 399. Then in his promotional debut under the Peak Fighting banner at Peak Fighting 52, he submitted Josh Islas in the first round via arm-triangle choke. The victory gave Dugan the third submission win of his professional career in addition to earning his first finish under the Peak Fighting banner. He also obtained his third consecutive victory in total to begin his story as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Dugan is a prospect whose bloodhound instincts can sniff out a myriad of movements and other body language when tracking his cornered quarry because the thrill of the chase carries measures of satisfaction than the initial capture itself when this red river ripper hunts solo suspects and is called at correct attention!
