He is 1-0 under the Peak Fighting banner and has spent his entire career in the United States in his home state of Oklahoma. In his professional MMA debut at Martial Combat League 7, he submitted Brendan Clarke in round one. Dugan also tapped out Joe McCormick in the second round at XFN 399. Then in his promotional debut under the Peak Fighting banner at Peak Fighting 52, he submitted Josh Islas in the first round via arm-triangle choke. The victory gave Dugan the third submission win of his professional career in addition to earning his first finish under the Peak Fighting banner. He also obtained his third consecutive victory in total to begin his story as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.
