He defeated Zach Powell via unanimous decision in the main event of BFL 83 to obtain his lone decision victory as a professional. Posener choked out Allan Ruiz in the first round in the headliner of BFL 85.
In the main event of BFL 86, he submitted Danny Mallette via rear-naked choke in round one. The win scored Posener the sixth submission victory of his professional career. He also picked up his seventh consecutive victory in total to start his story overall as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.
