In his professional MMA debut at Golden Fights A Night of Gold, he defeated Josh Richardson via a split decision. Mitchell submitted Thomas Hughes via arm-triangle choke in round one at Fierce FC 13 New Era to lock in his only submission win as a professional. He defeated Gunner Coronado at Peak Fighting 12 via technical knockout in the first round. Then at XMMA 6 Bash at the Beach, Mitchell defeated Charleston Pou via TKO in round two. He defeated Christian Carr at Maverick MMA 24 via unanimous decision. Mitchell bested James Settle via unanimous decision at Cage Warriors 159 to get his third decision victory as a professional. He defeated Marcell Mickens in the third round at Fury FC Challenger Series 9 to earn the third knockout win of his professional campaign and seventh victory in total as a professional MMA fighter in the process.
At Peak Fighting 55 Dimond Series on November 7, he will square off against UFC veteran and Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series alumni Drako Rodriguez for the featherweight title. Good luck Brian!
