Getting all of the difficult lessons out of the way early in an athletic journey can help shape the useful traits that get fighters out of sticky situations when they need it the most at just the right time like a jack of all trades with tools for every possible scenario. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a craftsman of clock centered innovation conjuring up some seasonal warmth with a treat like twist for Cage Titans. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2019 and representing Lauzon Mixed Martial Arts, Cody Zappone holds a 4-3 record over the course of a story that spans seven total outings consisting of three submissions and one knockout. Zappone has fought for various promotions throughout his overall arc inside the professional ranks including CES MMA, Combat Zone MMA, Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Cage Titans. He is 2-0 under the Cage Titans banner with two finishes in two appearances with them under his belt to show for it. Zappone has finished all four of his professional victories. His whole MMA adventure has taken place in the United States.
At Donnybrooke Fight Promotions Battle In Barre 7, he faced Bruce Richards and tapped him out in round one. Zappone also submitted Kenny Champion via rear-naked choke in the second round at CES MMA 70.
Then in his promotional debut with Cage Titans at Cage Titans FC Revolution, He choked out Lionel Young in round one via arm-triangle choke to score his third submission win as a professional. For his second outing with Cage Titans on the main card of Cage Titans 77 at a catchweight of 150 pounds, Zappone defeated Dion Rubio in the first round to secure the first knockout victory of his professional career alongside picking up back-to-back wins and finishes with Cage Titans. He also earned his fourth victory as a professional MMA fighter in the process. If the first seven chapters of Zappone’s zany roller coaster of a triumph tale are of any indication, it is all about surviving the storm now so that you may restfully reap your regional laurels and enjoy the scenery of out of the loop areas beyond the bare basics without the restrictions of respectable home distances and never having the need for a locational map on the other and sunnier half of the sporting coin!
