Rematching with familiar foes provides much more than just an opportunity to see the bitterness of old scores get settled once and for all. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a prospect of promising prowess ready to bury the hatchet at long last in the yellow gloves at Bantamweight for Cage Warriors and continue his gym’s run of professional excellence from the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle at Cage Warriors 199 on December 6. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2023 and representing Next Generation Liverpool, Charlie Boulton holds a 3-1 record in four outings consisting of one submission, one knockout and one decision. He has fought for various organizations over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter including Battle Arena, Kingdom Combat Championship and Cage Warriors. Both of his finishes have been inside of a single round within five minutes or fewer. His lone decision win has resulted in a unanimous verdict. Boulton has spent the majority of his professional career in the United Kingdom. He is 1-0 under the Cage Warriors banner. Boulton fought for UK Fighting Championships, Almighty Fighting Championship and Full Contact Contender as an Amateur before turning professional.

In his professional MMA debut at Kingdom Combat Championship 4, he faced Connor Lee and went on to defeat him via TKO in round one to earn his first knockout win as a professional. Boulton defeated Omar Sargent at Battle Arena 77 via unanimous decision to pick up his only decision victory as a professional. Then in his promotional debut under the Cage Warriors in the opening preliminary bout of Cage Warriors 190, he choked out Kevin Azouz in the first round via rear-naked choke to score the first submission win of his professional career along with his first victory and finish under the Cage Warriors banner. Boulton also notched his third victory overall victory in addition to his second finish as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.

On December 6 at Cage Warriors 199, he will face Daniel Bainbridge in a Bantamweight encounter. Good luck Charlie!
