Mixed Martial Arts has had more than its fair share of border battles and wars for country pride in the ultimate show of patriotism, as the years have gone on and the sport continues to break down past barriers and erect new ground that has only strengthened in determination and resolve in a show of unity for ambitious desires and common bonds that will never break down in the face of new and aging obstacles and signs of change all around. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a snake of sparse warmth ready to make France feel the chill for PFL Europe at PFL Lyon on December 13 and do Canada proud in the tradition of GSP and other names of noteworthiness. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2017 and representing H2O MMA, Fred Dupras holds a 9-2 record with all nine of his victories coming via submission. He is 1-1 under the PFL MMA banner. Dupras has never gone to the scorecards over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter, with a 100 percent finish rate in 11 professional appearances to show for it under his belt. He has spent the majority of his career in his home nation of Canada. All of his finishes inside the professional ranks have come inside two rounds

In his professional MMA debut at TKO MMA 40, he tapped out Tyler Wilson in round one. Dupras also submitted Deven McIntyre in the first round at TKO MMA 42. Then at Samourai MMA, he choked out Patrick Connors via arm-triangle choke in the first round. Dupras submitted Quentin Arola in round one at Samourai MMA 2. At Samourai MMA 3 he tapped out Carlos Espinoza in the first round. Dupras submitted Mahio Campanella at Samourai MMA 5 via anaconda choke in round one. He choked out Jordan Beltran in the first round at Samourai MMA 8. Dupras submitted Jessie Arnett in round two in the main event of Samourai MMA 11. At PFL Atlantic City, he choked out Nathan Kelly in the second round to pick up the ninth submission win of his professional career, alongside his first victory and finish under the PFL MMA banner. He also scored his ninth overall win as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.

On December 13 at PFL Lyon, he will face France’s Asael Adjoudj in a Featherweight affair. Good luck Fred!
