A professional mixed martial artist since May 2019 and representing 4 Corner Combat Gym, Raphael Uchegbu owns a 10-2 record in 12 contests consisting of five submissions, four knockouts and one decision. He appeared on week six during Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season nine in 2025. Uchegbu has fought for numerous promotions throughout his journey as a professional MMA fighter including Full Contact Contender and Bellator MMA. He has spent the majority of his career in the United Kingdom. Uchegbu has finished nine out of his 10 total victories over the course of his journey in the professional ranks. His only decision win has resulted in a unanimous verdict.

In his professional MMA debut, he faced Lee Percival and submitted him via triangle choke in the first round. Uchegbu tapped out Shane Campbell in round three via rear-naked choke. He submitted Chris Sterling in the second round via armbar at UK Fighting Championships 15. Uchegbu defeated Dave Jones via technical knockout in round one at Almighty Fighting Championship 19. He defeated George Courtney at Almighty Fighting Championship 21 via unanimous decision to score his lone decision victory as a professional. Uchegbu defeated Martin Fouda via TKO in the first round at Almighty Fighting Championship 24. Then in his promotional debut under the Full Contact Contender banner at FCC 33, he tapped out Andres Felipe Molano via armbar in round five. Uchegbu choked out Mateus Linhares via rear-naked choke in the third round at FCC 34 to secure his fifth submission win as a professional. He defeated Lucas Rodrigues via TKO in the fifth round at FCC 36.

At 971 Fighting Championship, Uchegbu defeated Mahammoud Ahmed via TKO in round one to earn the fourth knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up his 10th win overall as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Uchegbu is a swooping hawk that constantly circles around then seizes the open opportunity with great relish the minute an open season opponent turns their back!
