Returning to their home roots can reignite a fighter’s competitive spark because of all the added weight and mental pressures that can cast a shadow of dreary malaise over their professional debut. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Northern chiller ready to deliver some cold polar truths at Flyweight for Unified MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2025 and representing Dunamis Martial Arts, Gabe Durocher holds a 1-1 record with his lone win coming via TKO. He has fought for Throne MMA and Unified MMA. Durocher has never gone to the scorecards over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has a single first-round finish through two appearances inside the professional ranks with a time of one minute and 17 seconds. Durocher is 1-0 under the Unified MMA banner with one finish under his belt to show for it in his one and only outing with the promotion. He also fought for Unified MMA and Throne MMA as an Amateur before turning professional. He has spent his career in the United States and his home nation of Canada. The lone finish of Durocher’s professional career has come in the opening round inside of five minutes or fewer.

In his promotional debut under the Unified MMA banner on the main card of Unified MMA 65, he faced Edwin Ssekibuule and knocked him out in the first round to earn the first knockout victory of his professional career in addition to win and finish number one under the Unified MMA banner. Durocher also picked up his first victory overall as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Durocher may be just starting out on his journey, but his chilling power can leave opponents on either side on the boarder frozen stiff with icy fright and fearful of letting in a draft that rattles a broken spirit as dark descends its enveloping curtain!
