The military and the world of mixed martial arts continue to share an unbreakable partnership that can withstand any stormy challenge that they have faced in past and current times. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an impassioned island unifier ready to show American pride and Southern roots at Heavyweight for Legacy Fighting Alliance in the promotion’s Sophomore visit to the Volunteer State at LFA 226 on February 6 from the F&M Bank Arena in Clarksville. An Amateur mixed martial artist since April 2018 and representing Wildside Combat Sports Center, Nathan George owns a 5-3 record with all wins coming via TKO. George has never gone to the scorecards during his Amateur journey with a 100 percent finish rate over the course of eight total appearances to show for it under his belt as an Amateur MMA fighter. The majority of his finishes inside the Amateur ranks have been inside the opening round to go along with a single second-round finish. George has spent his whole Amateur career in the United States and has finished all five of his victories.
In his Amateur MMA debut at Northwest Fight Challenge 26, he faced Charlandro Peoples and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in round two. George also defeated Seth Kroll in the main event of Solid as a Rock FC 16. Then at Fight Quest 5, he defeated Thomas Vogeli via TKO in the first round. George defeated Isaiah Richardson via technical knockout in round one at Brawl into Fall. He defeated Matt Gawlik at EFN 24 Fight Night via TKO in round one to earn his fifth win as an Amateur mixed martial artist in the process.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner on February 6 at LFA 226, George will face a fellow debutant in Blake Mitchell at Heavyweight. Good luck Nathan!
