Becoming an athlete of consistency is never an easy gauntlet to navigate, regardless of how many times they get knocked down or completely fail to set a standard for themselves, even after multiple attempts to get back on the horse of successful glories with the weighty saddle of failure firmly strapped to their back. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a steed of steely determined fortitude ready to buck the outside chatter as Ohio’s latest company man in the big stage pool. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2024 and representing Demolition Fight Team, Quintin Richards holds a 5-1 record in six outings consisting of three knockouts and two submissions. Richards has never gone through to the scorecards with a finish rate of 100 percent over the course of six total appearances as a professional MMA fighter to show for it under his belt. He has fought for various promotions throughout his professional arc including Legacy Fighting Alliance and has spent his entire career in the United States. All of his professional finishes have been inside the distance.
In his professional MMA debut at SCS Renegade Rumble 7, he defeated Nicholas Mondelli via TKO in round one. Richards submitted Aaron Hughes in the first round via rear-naked choke at SCS Route 30 Rumble 3. Then at SCS The Night Before Christmas 2, he defeated Aaron McDaniel via technical knockout in round two. Richards submitted Caleb Contreras at Carnage Fight Series via armbar in the second round to notch his second submission win as a professional.
In the main event of Carnage Fight Series 2, he defeated Jimmy Sandlin via TKO in round three. The victory secured Richards the third knockout win of his professional career.
