Across The Pond profile: Fury Fighting Championship fighter Deshaun Gray

All athletes possess a piece of the animal kingdom within them because they are, by their very nature, hunters of a certain something, despite the consequential nature of mixed martial arts, whether in victory or defeat. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a hound of the howling stockyards ready to issue a bounteous bark of warning to all bantamweights in the vicinity for Fury Fighting Championship. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2024 and representing Squabble MMA, Deshaun Gray holds a 3-1 record in four outings consisting of two knockouts and one decision. Gray is 2-0 under the Fury Fighting Championship banner with two finishes in two appearances with the organization under his belt to show for it. He has spent his entire journey in the United States in his home state of Texas. His one and only decision win has resulted in a unanimous verdict over the span of three rounds and a time period of 15 minutes. Both of Gray’s finishes during his arc as a professional MMA fighter have come inside the distance.

At XKO 70 Fight Night, he faced Brandon Clark and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision to notch his lone decision victory as a professional. Gray defeated Cameron Veales via technical knockout in the third round in his promotional debut under the Fury Fighting Championship banner at Fury FC 108. Then at Fury FC 112, he defeated Kendon Lee Kayser via TKO in round two to earn the second knockout win of his professional career in addition to obtaining back-to-back victories under the Fury Fighting Championship banner. He also picked up his third overall victory in total as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Gray may only have single digit experience, but his bite packs plenty of pressure to make chastised quarries think twice before giving pursuit in an animalistic game of chase!
