Facing adversity in mixed martial arts often forces fighters to find an extra gear to get a win when their backs are really up against the wall. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a huntress of forest flames ready to stand tall like a redwoods tower for PFL MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2024 and representing Steel MMA and Fitness, Ashley Thiner holds a 3-0 record consisting of two knockouts and one decision. Her only decision victory has resulted in a unanimous verdict over three rounds and a duration of 15 minutes. Thiner has fought for Bellator MMA and PFL MMA. She is 1-0 under the PFL MMA banner. Both of Thiner’s finishes during her arc as a professional MMA fighter have been inside the distance with one first-round finish alongside a single second-round finish in three total appearances inside the professional ranks. Her entire career has been in the United States.

In her professional MMA debut at Bellator MMA Champions Series San Diego, she faced Aysia Cortez and went on to defeat her via technical knockout in the second round. Thiner also defeated Vicky Fontaine via TKO in round one at Victory Fighting League Clash of the Champions to obtain her second knockout win as a professional.

Then in her promotional debut under the PFL MMA banner at PFL Austin, she defeated Mia Gawe via unanimous decision. The victory notched Thiner the first decision win of her professional career in addition to picking up her first victory under the PFL MMA banner. She also earned her third consecutive win overall to start her story as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. At 3-0, Thiner is a bear of a prospect whose roar remains golden at just the right note of frequency as a testament to her relentless resilience and resolution!
