Experiencing the culture of new nations along with what they have always been known for allows a sports fan to take in what they love most about the world of mixed martial arts from a fresh point of view and prospective when the shoe is on the other foot. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will get introduced to the newest officer of tribunal enforcement ready to hold court in the yellow gloves at bantamweight for Cage Warriors as a welcome addition to the Italian MMA tome. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2026 and representing his home country of Italy, Federico Rotoni owns a 1-0 record with his sole victory coming via submission. Rotoni has spent his entire tenure as a professional MMA fighter with Cage Warriors and is 1-0 under their banner. He has never gone to the scorecards on his journey inside the professional ranks with a 100 percent finish rate to show for it under his belt thus far in his one and only professional appearance. His whole arc has been set in Italy. The lone finish of his professional arc has come inside the opening round with a time of four minutes and 52 seconds.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors in the second contest on the main card of Cage Warriors 211, he faced a fellow newcomer in the debuting Andrei Gabura and submitted him via brabo choke in the first round. The win obtained Rotoni the first submission victory of his professional career alongside picking up his first victory and finish under the Cage Warriors banner. He also earned win number one overall to kick off the opening chapter of his career story as a professional mixed martial artist in the process. Once Rotoni takes up the sword, heroes of the historical past can be at peace knowing that their spirited passion will be carried on beyond the boot in the newer classes of generational hunger starving for a stardom opportunity!
