Veteran martial arts coach and the father of Abdul Kareem Al Selwady had voiced out his comments on the upcoming Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises to be hosted in Jordan on March 2nd in Amman, Jordan. The event is the largest to have ever hosted in Jordan. The fight night will be hosted in the very same venue that featured world-class fighters including Conor McGregor and more. One among the highlights of the fight card will be the clash between the veteran multi-time champion from the United Kingdom, Charlie Leary and Abdul Kareem representing Jordan.
The veteran commented that the bout will be one of the most exciting that the audience in Jordan will be waiting for. Abdul Kareem is one of the youngest prospects from Jordan who competed against global talent and brought global attention towards MMA in Jordan. Meanwhile, Charlie Leary is a veteran training out of Crossface MMA in England, with an experience of 23 fights and excellent boxing skills. Husam Mubarak pointed out the bout can go really entertaining with two world-class strikers engaging in a battle like never before. He also pointed out that the audience can expect surprises. The aim of both athletes will be to finish the fight in the first round but it will be an epic bout if it lasts all three rounds.
The event has received a warm response from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as the initiative brings back mixed martial arts after a long duration of absence. The main event will feature the first ever featherweight championship title defence by the reigning champion, Elias Boudegzdame against Jacub Kowalewicz. The fight card is also noteworthy for featuring 18 fight teams competing in a single card in Jordan.
