In LFA’s 83 event run on UFC Fight Pass and AXS TV, many a prospect has come and gone like the gentle blow of the ever-changing wind. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a hurricane of scorching and searing heat looking to ignite LFA’S welterweight division like a matchstick as he looks to give his career a shot in the arm off the rebound at LFA 85 on July 17. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2017 and representing Jackson-Wink MMA, Christopher Brown owns a 5-2 record in seven professional contests comprised of two knockouts, two decisions, and one submission. Brown has fought for various promotions throughout his career as a pro-MMA fighter including Warrior Xtreme and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has finished three of his five professional victories with two of those wins going the entire three-round 15-minute distance.

In his MMA debut at Jackson-Wink fight night 2, Brown faced Brandon Trujillo and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the first round. He defeated Blake Smith via unanimous decision at Jackson-Wink fight night 3. Then at Jackson-Wink fight night 4, Brown defeated Warren Stewart via unanimous decision. In his debut appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 71, he knocked out Yuni Oduwole in round two. For the main event of Warrior Wednesday 9 Brown defeated Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season two alumni Austin Tweedy via TKO in the first round to pick up his second knockout victory as a professional.

In the second of four consecutive LFA events in South Dakota at LFA 85 on July 17 live on UFC Fight Pass from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, he will face Salaman Ahmadyar in a clash at welterweight. Other fighters that will appear on LFA 85 will include submission specialist Jacob Thrall, Dakota Bush, and top female prospect Sam Hughes. Good luck Christopher!
