Stepping up on short notice can be a double-edged sword in the mixed martial arts world. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bear of the bluegrass whose hunt or be hunted approach has foes treading on dangerous ground. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2015 and representing Elite Martial Arts, Harry Hunsucker owns a 6-3 record in nine professional bouts comprised of four submissions and two knockouts. Hunsucker appeared on week eight during the fourth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2020 and has also fought for HR MMA, a regional promotion based in his home state of Kentucky. He has finished all six of his victories in his career thus far as a professional mixed martial artist with six first-round finishes. Hunsucker has yet to make it past the first round of any contest during his tenure so far as a pro-MMA fighter.
At Warrior FC November 2 Remember, he faced Kevin Powers and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the first round. Hunsucker defeated Raleigh Abbott via TKO in round one at HR MMA 93. Then at HR MMA 97, he tapped out Chris Dunn in the first round via rear-naked choke. Hunsucker defeated Billy Swanson via TKO in the first round at Valor Fighting Challenge 54 to pick up his second knockout win as a professional. At HR MMA 111, he submitted Tony Parker via Americana in the first round.
In the main event of HR MMA 115, Hunsucker tapped out Jordan Mitchell in round one via kimura. The victory earned Hunsucker the fourth submission win of his professional career. He also picked up his sixth straight round one finish in a row in the process. With a 100 percent finish rate, grabbing this blue-blooded bull by the horns comes at your own peril!
