A professional mixed martial artist since November 2019 and representing SBG Manchester, Manny Akpan owns an undefeated 3-0 professional record comprised of one knockout, one submission, and one decision. Akpan is currently 2-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors, with one finish under his belt in two appearances for the promotion. He has also fought for Full Contact Contender. Akpan has finished two out of his three victories during his time as a pro-MMA fighter so far, with two first-round finishes to his name. He has gone to the scorecards a single time during his pro career, winning via decision across the board.
In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Cage Warriors 110, he faced Jack Maguire and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Akpan submitted Liam Molloy in the first round via triangle choke at Full Contact Contender 25. Then in his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 120, he defeated Ben Ellis via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Akpan the first knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number two under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process.
