There is nothing wrong with striving to be the very best in order to achieve perfection in mixed martial arts. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an alpha lion aiming to reach new heights of perfection with his submissive squeeze in Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2020 and representing GB Top Team under the expert eye of head coach Brad Pickett, Nik Bagley owns a 2-0 record, with both of his victories as a pro- MMA fighter coming via submission. Bagley is currently 1-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. He has finished 100 percent of his wins during his time in the professional ranks, with one first-round finish under his belt to go along with a single second-round finish. Bagley has yet to reach the scorecards at any point over the course of his pro career so far. Each of Bagley’s victories during his career as a professional mixed martial artist thus far has come inside the distance within the space of two rounds.
In his MMA debut at Supreme Cage Fighting Championships 14, he faced Luke O’ Neill and went on to tap him out in the first round, with a time of two minutes and 24 seconds. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 131 on the opening night of double trouble from London’s York Hall, Bagley submitted Scott Pedersen via rear-naked choke in the second round. The victory earned Bagley the second submission win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the Cage Warriors banner in the process along with his second straight finish to begin his career. With a finish rate of 100 percent, Bagley is already scoring top marks in terms of his overall MMA skillset!
