Earning the opportunity to showcase their skills can still catch a watchful eye even if a fighter does not reach the finish line regardless of what season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series they make an appearance on. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a panther of the blistering Southwestern sun ready to pen the latest chapter in his scorched earth story. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2018 and representing Fight Ready MMA, Kasey Tanner holds a 6-1 record in seven contests comprised of two knockouts, two submissions and two decisions. Tanner appeared on week six as part of the seventh cycle of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2023. He has fought for several organizations during his time in the professional ranks including Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance. Tanner has finished four out of his six overall victories over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his pro career, sweeping them clean across the board both times.

In his MMA debut at WFF 38, he defeated Jawan Lee via unanimous decision. Tanner tapped out Arturo Guzman via kneebar in the third round at Combate Americas Mexico versus USA. He submitted Tyler Cole in round two via rear-naked choke at Iron Boy MMA 15. Then at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 90, Tanner defeated Calvin Harbaugh via technical knockout in the second round. He defeated Terry Bartholomew via unanimous decision at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 92.

In his lone appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance on the main card of LFA 124, Tanner defeated Tristan Lindi via TKO in round one. The victory earned Tanner the second knockout win of his professional career in addition to his sixth win overall in the process. Tanner’s willingness to add tools to the toolbox and preparation for spotting an opponent’s weak point make the case for brains over brute force!
