Scotland and Cage Warriors have managed to maintain their place of prominence in the hearts of European MMA fans ever since the organization first debuted on Scottish soil at Cage Warriors 50 back in 2012 at Kelvin Hall in Glasgow. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest member of the freedom fighter line ready to stand in solidarity with his kin folk at lightweight when the promotion heads back to Newcastle for the first time since Cage Warriors 73 in 2014 on November 25 as one of three Scots that will be featured in the event.

A professional mixed martial artist since August 2021 and representing Scottish Hit Squad, Michael Blair owns a 2-1 record with both of his victories during his time in the professional ranks coming via knockout. Blair has never gone to the scorecards at any juncture over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. He has fought for Bad Guy Promotions and Forza Fighting Championship. Blair has a 100 percent finish rate with each of those finishes coming inside the opening round. Each of his wins during his career as a professional mixed martial artist have come in the space of five minutes or fewer. Blair also fought for numerous promotions in his home nation of Scottland as an amateur including Headhunters FC prior to turning professional.

At Forza Fighting Championship 9, he faced Darren Landsdale and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in round one. Then at Holytown Havoc 2, Blair defeated Thomas Hepburn via TKO in the first round. The victory secured Blair the second knockout win of his professional career in addition to back-to-back finishes. He also picked up his second knockout win as a professional in the process along with his second finish. Blair will have opponents done in one if they fail to come correct!
