The best organizations are the ones that stay busy behind the scenes working tirelessly around the clock for solutions to make the overall product better as a whole by getting top talents from across global zones to sign on the dotted lines in the name of MMA. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a beastly big cat on the hunt for fresh prey amongst the middleweight pride in Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2019 and representing AVT Leeds, Furqan Cheema owns a 3-2 record in five contests comprised of two knockouts and one submission. All three of Cheema’s finishes during his career as a professional mixed martial artist have been within the opening round. He has never gone to the scorecards at any point over the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter and has a finish rate of 100 percent. Cheema has three first-round finishes through five professional appearances under his belt thus far. 100 percent of his wins during his time in the professional MMA ranks have come in the space of fewer than five minutes.

In his professional MMA debut at Combat Challenge 23, he faced Dan Hunter and went on to defeat him via technical knockout in the first round. Cheema submitted Andy Cona in round one via rear-naked choke at Combat Challenge 24 to score his first submission victory as a professional. Then at Risk Fight League 5 Gods of War, he defeated Jake Watkins via TKO in the first round. The victory earned Cheema the second knockout win of his professional career along with his third finish overall. He also picked up his third victory as a professional in the process. Once Cheema starts to sense that the opportunity presents itself, he springs into pouncing mode long before they have a chance to slip out the back door!
