Returning to a promotion where a fighter has had a taste of success will often reignite their hunger to forge through the tough times and transform them into a better version of themselves. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a majestic sea eagle ready to replant the fruits of success in Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 136 on September 27 and soar once again at Featherweight. A professional mixed martial artist since February 2017 and representing Charlie’s Combat Club, Chris Vasil owns a 6-4 record in 10 contests comprised of four knockouts and two decisions. He has spent the majority of his career in the professional ranks with Cage Fury Fighting Championships. He has finished four out of his six overall wins during the course of his career as a professional MMA fighter. Vasil has spent his entire career as a professional mixed martial artist in the United States.

In his professional MMA debut at COGA 53 Supreme Showdown 2, he faced Jessie Nutting and defeated him via unanimous decision. Vasil also defeated Edson Penado via unanimous decision at COGA 55 Rumble on the Ridge 38 to secure his second decision win as a professional. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 75, he defeated Troy Guerrero via technical knockout in round one. Vasil knocked out Fadi Shuman in the first round at CFFC 88. He defeated Ben Wada via TKO in round three at COGA Supreme Showdown 6. Vasil knocked out Frank Wells in the third round at CFFC 116. The victory earned Vasil the fourth knockout win of his professional career in addition to victory number three under the Cage Fury Fighting Championships banner. He also picked up his sixth win inside the professional ranks in the process.

At  CFFC 136 on September 27, he will face off against John Nguyen in a battle of the border at Featherweight. Good luck Chris!
