There is no other sport like mixed martial arts because a fighter’s words and actions always carry the same weight in the story. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest bard of action brawls keeping the camera rolling for Synergy FC with fresh material at Lightweight. An Amateur mixed martial artist since May 2023 and representing Springfield Fight Club under the eye of head coach Nathan Stamburski, Marquese Gaten owns a 5-1 record in six appearances consisting of two submissions, one knockout and two decisions. He has spent the majority of his career as an Amateur MMA fighter with Synergy FC. Gaten has spent his entire Amateur career in the United States. He is 3-1 under the Synergy FC banner and has finished three out of his five overall victories. Gaten has gone to the scorecards twice during his Amateur journey. All of Gaten’s finishes over the course of his career as an Amateur mixed martial artist have been inside the distance.

In his Amateur MMA debut, he faced Kaden Heintz and submitted him via kimura in the third round. Gaten defeated Josh Tyler in round one to notch his lone knockout victory as an Amateur. Then in his second outing under the Synergy FC banner at Synergy FC 10, he tapped out Mason Collins in round three via armbar to score his second submission win as an Amateur. Gaten defeated Chandler McAtee at Synergy FC 12 via unanimous decision.

At Synergy FC 16, he defeated Amir Nezami via a split decision. The win earned Gaten the second decision victory of his Amateur career along with his third win under the Synergy FC banner. He also secured his fifth victory inside the Amateur ranks in the process. At 22 years old, Gaten’s enthusiastic desire to be a fan favorite of the people speaks the loudest volume above all else in this adventure blockbuster!
