In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Sacramento stormtrooper ready to reprogram his MMA circuits for A1 Combat. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2019 and representing Team Alpha Male, Billy Brand owns a 5-2 record in seven contests comprised of three knockouts and two decisions. He appeared on week two during the eighth season of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2024 and has fought for several promotions during his career in the professional ranks including A1 Combat. Brand has spent his entire career as a professional MMA fighter in the United States and has finished three out of his five total wins over the course of his journey as a professional mixed martial artist. Both of his decision victories have resulted in unanimous verdicts. Brand is 3-0 under the A1 Combat banner with two finishes under his belt in three appearances with the promotion to show for it.
In his professional MMA debut at Global Knockout 13, he faced Slade Ring and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Brand defeated Hugo Soto via technical knockout in the first round at KOTC Battle Tested. Then at A1 Combat 9 Long Beach, he knocked out Eddie Bernal in round one. Brand defeated Pedro Juarez via TKO in the third round at A1 Combat 12 to score his third knockout win as a professional.
At A1 Combat 15 Night of Champions, he defeated James Guidry via unanimous decision. The victory earned Brand the second decision win of his professional career along with his third win under the A1 Combat banner. He also secured his fifth victory inside the professional ranks in the process. When Brand strikes up a victory tune, the harmonic violence echos long after the final note dies away!
