Being around a thriving combat sports environment from the earliest possible age often provides fighters with a sneak preview of what their future will entail once they ultimately come to a decision on being a fighter. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to the latest serpentine surgeon leaving foes in disgraced rags for Full Contact Contender as their newest Amateur that remains under construction. An Amateur mixed martial artist since August 2022 and representing Fighter Blueprint Academy, Charlie Goulding holds a 3-1 record with all of those victories coming via submission. All three of his finishes during his journey as an Amateur MMA fighter have come in the space of a single round within five minutes or fewer. He is 2-0 under the FCC banner with two first-round finishes under his belt in two appearances with the promotion to show for it. Goulding has a 100 percent finish rate and has spent his whole Amateur career in the United Kingdom.

In his promotional debut under the Full Contact Contender banner at FCC 38, he faced Florian Boanca and went on to tap him out via rear-naked choke in the first round. Goulding submitted Sol Ryan in round one at BMF MMA 9.

Then in his second appearance with Full Contact Contender at FCC 39, he submitted Billie Edwards in the first round. The victory earned Goulding the second submission win of his Amateur career in addition to his second victory and finish under the FCC banner. He also secured his third win inside the Amateur ranks in the process. Mistakes are magnified tenfold when Goulding scrutinizes opposition under the microscope the deeper that the knife slices!
