Whether a fighter is making their professional debut or is considerably more experienced, you never know how fight jitters will affect them once the cage door locks behind them. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a daredevil of gutsy gambles rolling high number luck at Lightweight for Cage Warriors in his journey to illustrate that everyone’s projected path to winning is much more than a game of facts and figures.  A professional mixed martial artist since September 2022 and representing GB Top Team and Diesel Gym London, Daniel Crooks-May owns a 1-1-1 record consisting of one decision and a no contest. He has fought for Contenders and Cage Warriors and has spent his entire tenure as a professional MMA fighter in the United Kingdom. Crooks-May’s lone win during his career in the professional ranks has resulted in a unanimous decision verdict over a duration of three rounds with a time period of 15 minutes. He also fought for several promotions as an Amateur including Cage Warriors Academy Southeast in addition to Warrior Challenge before becoming a professional mixed martial artist.

In his second appearance under the Cage Warriors banner on the preliminary card of Cage Warriors 186 at the O2 Arena in London, he faced fellow Cage Warriors Academy Southeast alumni Cameron Stewart and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. The win earned Crooks-May the first decision victory of his professional career alongside his first victory under the Cage Warriors banner. He also secured win number one inside the professional MMA ranks in the process. Although his journey in the yellow gloves has been unique to this juncture, there would be a full-color photo of Crooks-May if you were to define perseverance in the global dictionary of professionalism along with teachable lessons for all that mixed martial arts can throw in your direction when living the athletic life!
