An Amateur mixed martial artist since November 2016 and representing WAMMA and Mecha Martial Arts, Phil Lauzon holds a 5-4 record in nine bouts consisting of three submissions and two knockouts. He has fought for various promotions over the course of his Amateur journey including Unified MMA and Throne MMA. Lauzon has finished all five of his wins during his career as an Amateur MMA fighter and is 1-1 under the Throne MMA banner.
At Rumble in the Cage 56, he faced Travis Clarke and went on to submit him via armbar in the first round. Lauzon knocked out Corneilus Krahn in round two at Rumble in the Cage 59. Then at BFL 62, he tapped out Navid Mirzaei in the first round via rear-naked choke. Lauzon submitted Jake Limberg via armbar in round one at 3 River Throwdown 22 to notch his third submission win as an Amateur.
At Thone MMA, he defeated Joop Bollen via technical knockout in the first round. The victory secured Lauzon the second knockout win of his Amateur career in addition to his first win and finish under the Throne MMA banner.
