Badr vs. Benny and Rubber Match Title Fight Headline New GLORY 76 Event

GLORY announces that GLORY 76 has been moved and will now take place on Saturday, November 7. The event will be headlined by the long-awaited fight between Badr Hari and Benjamin Adegbuyi and co-headlined by the rubber match title fight between Cédric Doumbé and Murthel Groenhart. Badr vs. Benny Badr Hari (106-14, 92 KO) will make his return to the GLORY ring for the first time since December’s record-setting GLORY: COLLISION 2 event, where a crowd of 31,000 watched him come within touching distance of seizing the belt against heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven. Hari will face two-time GLORY heavyweight title challenger and three-time winner of GLORY Heavyweight Tournament Winner, Benjamin Adegbuyi (34-6, 19 KO), who currently occupies the #2 position in the heavyweight rankings. Adegbuyi will step up to take on the toughest challenge of his career. Rubber Match Title Fight In the co-main event, the world welterweight championship will be on the line when reigning champion Cédric Doumbé (73-6-1, 43 KO, fighting out of France) and interim champion Murthel Groenhart (68-24-3, 39 KO, fighting out of The Netherlands) finally meet for one of the most awaited trilogy matches in kickboxing. Doumbé and Groenhart have a storied history and each hold a win over the other. The winner of their GLORY 76 showdown will walk away not only with the world championship but also as the winner of their trilogy series. The event will take place in a studio location in Holland, closed to the public, and will be produced with only essential personnel in attendance. Full distribution and fight card details will be shared with fans in the coming weeks. GLORY decided to move the two previously scheduled GLORY events at Haangar 2 in Katwijk aan Zee to a studio event due to continuing concerns over COVID-19. The well-being of athletes, partners and staff remains the number one priority for the organization. GLORY will continue to collaborate closely with local government authorities to host a GLORY event with a live audience in the near future.
