Heiderman defeated Jacob Heavlin via a split decision in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 86. Then in his second outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 95, he submitted Mauricio Blanco via rear-naked choke in the second round to earn back-to-back wins with Legacy Fighting Alliance. For his third outing under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner at LFA 107, Heiderman tapped out Anthony Garrett in the first round via arm-triangle choke. The victory earned Heiderman the second submission win of his professional career. He also picked his third victory in a row under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process.
