Across The Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Riley Wiseman
Becoming the next big breakout star in Legacy Fighting Alliance is more difficult than it appears at first glance. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a howler of majestic water ready to arrive on the red carpet as the promotion’s newest workhorse at 155 pounds at LFA 133 on June 3. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2021 and representing Team Wise MMA, Riley Wiseman holds an undefeated 2-0 record, with both of his victories as a pro-MMA fighter coming via submission. He is currently 1-0 under the LFA banner, with one finish under his belt for the promotion. Wiseman has finished 100 percent of his wins during his time in the professional ranks. He has yet to make it to the scorecards at any point during his pro career so far. Both of Wiseman’s finishes over the course of his pro career have come inside the distance, with times of four minutes and 46 seconds and one minute and 36 seconds respectively. He has one second-round finish under his belt to go along with a single third-round finish during his career as a professional mixed martial artist thus far. Wiseman has a perfect finishing rate to begin his pro career, with each of those wins coming within three rounds. In his MMA debut at Cagesport 61, he faced Octavian Trumbo and went on to tap him out in the third round via triangle choke. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 127, Wiseman submitted Bryen Dao via rear-naked choke in the second round. The victory earned Wiseman the second submission win of his professional career. He also picked up win number one under the LFA banner in the process. For his second appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 133 on June 3, he will face Jacobi Jones in a lightweight encounter. Good luck Riley!
