On Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, it takes a lot more than natural athletic talent to land a coveted contract with the UFC. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a soaring midwest eagle whose unique blend of fight IQ and athleticism make him one to watch in 2019.

A professional since April 2011 and representing Roufusport, Jordan Griffin owns a 17-6 record in 23 career bouts as a professional comprised of eight submissions, five knockouts and four decisions.

Griffin secured a contract with the UFC on week seven of season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2018. He has also fought for various promotions including Legacy Fighting Alliance.

At Madtown Throwdown 26 The Return, he defeated Ryan Smith via unanimous decision. Griffin defeated his next two opponents in Dennis Anderson and Evian Rodriguez.

He defeated his next two opponents via decision in Alex Van Krevelen and Gino Digiulio. Then, Griffin submitted Josh Wolfe in the first round via guillotine choke.

He defeated Cameron Ramberg via majority decision at Dakota FC 21 Spring Brawl 2015. Griffin knocked out Ben Pierre-Saint in the second round at KOTC Total Dominance.

He defeated his next three opponents that included wins over Adam Ward and Seth Dikun. In the main event of RFO Big Guns 25, Griffin tapped out Cody Stevens via guillotine choke in round four.

In his debut appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 34, he submitted Derrick Minner via armbar in the second round.

For his second outing with LFA at LFA 41 Griffin tapped out Shawn West in round one via neck crank.
