Tuesday December 30, 2014- Holly Holm has been officially re-scheduled for Feb. 28 in Los Angeles. Holly Holm (7-0) will fight Raquel Pennington (5-4) at next month’s UFC 184 PPV event at Staples Center. UFC officials announced the 135-pound fight on Tuesday (12/30/2014).
Holm was originally scheduled to fight Pennington at UFC 181 on Dec. 6, but Holm was forced out of the fight due to a neck injury. Ashlee Evans-Smith was the raplacement for Holly, with that beaing said, Pennington submitted Ashlee Evans-Smith via Bulldog Choke late in the first round.
Also on the card is Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort, they will headline UFC 184. UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will also appear on the card as she defends her title against Cat Zingano in the co-main event. This will be Rondas fith title defense at UFC 184.
