Mixed Martial Arts fighters are some of the most focused athletes in the world. When the door shuts, it’s all about you and your opponent. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a fighter whose no nonsense approach to the sport and ruthless knockout power have made him a force to be reckoned with. A professional since July 2010 and representing Frontline Academy, Jack Hermansson owns a 11-2 record in 13 career bouts consisting of six knockouts, four submissions and two decisions. Jack is best known for his run in Cage Warriors.
In his MMA Debut, Jack knocked out Chris Greig in round three. He won his next four fights which included wins over Mike Ling and Ali Arish. Following a two fight stint with Bellator, Jack returned to Cage Warriors to take on Enoc Torres at Cage Warriors 66 and defeated him late in round three. Then, he defeated Ion Pascu via decision. Hermansson became the Cage Warriors Middleweight champion when he submitted Frenchman Norman Paraisy in the fourth round via rear naked choke at Cage Warriors 69. In his first title defense, Hermansson faced Deyan Topalski in the main event of Cage Warriors 71 and knocked him out in the first round. Jack went 2-0 in 2015 with one submission and one decision. Hermansson enters 2016 on a six fight win streak and is a extremely dangerous fighter for Middleweights to face. So watch out!
