Season 23 of The Ultimate Fighter saw the UFC bolster the Light Heavyweight division with exciting finishers. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a ruthless warrior from that season whose devastating finishing power is making waves at 205 pounds. A professional since June 2014 and representing Syndicate MMA, 27 year old Khail Rountree owns a 6-2 record in eight career bouts consisting of four knockouts and two decisions.

In his MMA debut at RFA 15, Khail defeated Livingston Lukow via unanimous decision. Then at RFA 21 he knocked out Blake Troop in the first round. Rountree defeated Cameron Olson via unanimous decision at RFA 25. At RFA 33, he knocked out Justin Polendey in round one. In 2016 Rountree was selected as part of The Ultimate Fighter 23 cast. To make it into the house, Khail defeated Muhammed DeReese via TKO in the second round and was the second Light Heavyweight pick of team Joanna. In episode ten, Khail replaced Cory Hendricks, who was removed from the show due to injury to face Josh Stansbury in the semi-finals. Khail defeated Josh via TKO in round one in episode twelve. At UFN 104 in Houston, Rountree faced Daniel Jolly and knocked him out in the first round. At UFC Glasgow he knocked out Paul Craig in the first round. The man they call ”The War Horse” is on the warpath!
