The jury is still very much out on how far MVP will go in boxing, to be fair you could say the same in his main career as a MMA fighter, but he is now 1-0 after his debut win as a professional boxer.
His opponent was limited and really the win proved very little.
Page is flashy and does have some skills, but as he moves up in levels his style will need refining, he won’t get away with the showboating he displayed tonight against better quality boxers.
There is a curiosity about him, at this stage nothing more, but there is promise.
I do worry though that trying to move between MMA and boxing he will never reach the heights or his potential at either.
