A professional since October 2009 and representing Marinoble’s Martial Arts and MMA Gold Fight Team, 32 year old Max Griffin owns a 13-4 record in seventeen career bouts consisting of seven knockouts, two submissions and four decisions.
In his MMA debut, Griffin defeated Kino Vuittonet via TKO in the first round. He also defeated Aaron Hamilton via TKO in the second round. Then, Max defeated Joshua Miranda via unanimous decision. He knocked out Jamie Jara in the first round. Max submitted Richard Rigmaden in the first round at WFC 4. He won his next three contests which included wins over Kito Andrews and Fernando Gonzalez respectively. At TPF 19, Max submitted Randall Wallace via rear naked choke in the second round.
He knocked out Ricky Legere jr in the first round at TPF 21. At WFC 15, Max re matched Randall Wallace and defeated him via TKO in the fourth round. He defeated UFC veteran David Mitchell via knockout in the first round at WFC 16. In his second UFC appearance at UFN 98 in Mexico City, Max defeated Erick Montano via TKO in the first round.
