From the years 2014-2017 he was riding a 10 fight winning streak. However, he recently lost to current UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic by unanimous decision at UFC220 on January 20, 2018. He is 6-1 inside the UFC Octagon.

Both men earned the ‘Fight of the night’ bonus.

Recently Francis Ngannou has called Derrick Lewis out, saying. (via, Twitter):

“Derrick has been talking some of his sh*t while I was off. Can someone please let him know that I’m here now, so if he really wants me, he should send his manager to deal with @UFC.”
