Ashley Reece vs Adam Proctor set for ACB 87 in Nottingham

The welterweights will clash in a fight that many will find tough to call. Whilst Ashley Reece is yet to taste defeat during both his amateur and professional career, Proctor has tasted defeat once and is coming into ACB 87 on the back of the biggest win of his career, a submission victory over Nathan Jones.

Ashley Reece makes his third appearance under the ACB banner, after wins over James Lewis and Sam Boult at ACB 54 and ACB 70 respectively. “The Beast” has won twelve consecutive fights across his professional and amateur career and looks to improve his ACB record to 3-0.

SBG South Shield’s Adam Proctor makes his ACB debut, following in the footsteps of his coach Alex Enlund. Proctor shares a similarity with Reece, having also defeated Sam Boult, but his first-round submission of Nathan Jones has been the stand out performance of his career to date.

Europe’s #1 MMA promotion ACB returns to the United Kingdom on May 19th at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England with Manchester’s own Kane Mousah battling Scotland’s Robert Whiteford in a mouth-watering featherweight main event.

ACB 87 is the first major mixed martial arts show to head to Nottingham since September 2012. It marks the fifth time that the MMA supremos have descended upon the United Kingdom.
