No.1 ranked welterweight Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, who is arguably one of the most precise and technically-gifted strikers in the UFC, will be looking to put on a dominant performance in front of Till’s home crowd.
Till meanwhile who was born and raised in Liverpool, will be looking to show his fans that he is ready to go toe to toe with one of the best strikers in the world when he steps inside the Octagon®.
In what is being billed as one of the most anticipated fights of the year, both athletes will be looking to prove they deserve the next title shot, when they collide in Liverpool on May, 27
In the co main event which was announced earlier this week, welterweights Neil Magny and Gunnar Nelson – both ranked within the top 15 of the UFC’s 170lbs division. Elsewhere on the card, England’s Tom Breese makes his highly anticipated return to action, stepping up to 185lbs to meet Australia’s Daniel Kelly, while Canadian fan-favourite Elias “The Spartan” Theodorou faces Trevor “Hot Sauce” Smith.
England’s Bradley “Bear” Scott meanwhile takes on Poland’s Salim Touahri in a welterweight match up and American Jason Knight will meet Finland’s Makwan Amirkhani in a featherweight bout.
