The former long-reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion wasn’t pleased with the criticism from former stand out star.
As we’re aware Jon Jones (also known as ‘Bones’) is not fighting at the moment due to dealing with some issues outside of the Octagon.
Jones last failed an in-competition drug test at UFC214, after defeating current 205lbs champion Daniel Cormier by third-round TKO. This main event took place on July 29 at Anaheim, California. Jon regained the title but unfortunately, he tested positive for turinabol.
As a result of this failed drug test, he was stripped of the UFC Light Heavyweight Title and removed from the UFC rankings.
The former champion has been stripped of the title three times, which is also a record within the UFC. Jones has also had some trouble outside the UFC such as a hit and run incident…
Back in February, it was announced that the CSAC revoked Jones of his Mixed Martial Arts license and was also hit with a big fine of $205,000.
The drama started when Tyson Griffin shared his thoughts on Conor McGregor’s outrage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
He would later go on to joke about how “The Notorious One” would likely lose his new sponsorship deal with Burger King quicker than Jones lost his deal with Nike back in 2014 after a brawl with rival Cormier at a UFC media event.
