British welterweight Craig White has stepped up on just 12 days notice to face Neil Magny at UFC Liverpool in the Echo Arena on 27th May 2018.
Magny was supposed to be facing Gunnar Nelson but he was forced to withdraw from the fight last month due to a knee injury.
White, who has a record of 14-7-0 and is on a four-fight win streak last fought at Cage Warriors 92: Super Saturday where he defeated Alex Montagnani via rear-naked choke in the second round and his next fight on Cage Warriors was set to be for the vacant welterweight title.
White will now co-headline in his promotional debut for UFC against American Neil Magny (20-6-0).
UFC Liverpool will be headlined by Liverpool’s Darren Till and number 1 contender, Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.
