With just over a week to go until the sell-out debut event in Liverpool, UFC®has confirmed that Space by Echo Arena, will host the Official UFC Viewing Party for MMA and sports fans across the city.
Tickets will be priced at £12.50 (including fees) per person and will be available to purchase viaThe Echo Arena website from 10:00 a.m. BST on Friday, May 18.
With the live event selling out in under an hour, UFC wanted to ensure more fans had access to watch the action, soak up the atmosphere and celebrate their local rising star, Darren Till, as he takes on his toughest test yet.
From 3:00 p.m.on Sunday, May 27,fans will be able to watch a live stream ofUFC FIGHT NIGHT®: THOMPSON vs. TILLwith the main card scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. Doors will open to the general public at 1.30 p.m. (All times BST).
Guest fighters travelling to Liverpool, which will include No. 8 ranked bantamweight Aljamain Sterling, will be on hand to meet fans in attendance.
UFC FIGHT NIGHT®: THOMPSON vs. TILLsees the local breakthrough star and the face of Liverpool MMA Darren Till go toe to toe with the welterweight division’s No.1 contender, Stephen Thompson, in one of the most eagerly anticipated welterweight bouts of the year.
Till will share the spotlight with fellow Liverpudlian, Molly “Meatball” McCann, as she makes her highly anticipated UFC debut when she takeson Gillian Robertson in awomen’s flyweight bout.
Coupled with Liverpool FC’s participation in the Champions League Final on Saturday evening, there will be a real party atmosphere in the city of Liverpool, in what promises to be a momentous weekend of sporting action for the city.
