Tyrell Fortune’s opponent has changed four days before Bellator 201. The previous matchup with Josue Lugo was pulled due to a failed weight cut. Giovanni Sarran (5-2-0) who fought Lorenz Larkin in 2010, will step in to make his Bellator debut and face the undefeated heavyweight prospect.
Tyrell says he’s all for challenging competition to build his record. Enjoying the Grand Prix he hopes to face the veterans in his division and he’s rooting for longtime friend Chael Sonnen to win which could get tricky later. A former sparring partner and student Tyrell also wished Rashad Evans well after hearing the announcement of his retirement.
