Brave Combat Federation will showcase action featuring the much-debated clash between Combat Sambo Champion and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Tangier, Morocco on 18th August.

The 2016 Combat Sambo World Champion, Velimurad Alkhasov will be facing a master Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert, Sean Santella.

The action will take place in the flyweight division of Brave Combat Federation. Both the fighters will be making their promotional debut in Brave Combat Federation on 18th August and a win is critical for both the fighters to thrive in a division headed by fighters including 10 times IBJJF World Champion, Bruno Malfacine and IMMAF Medalist, Hussain Ayyad.

Velimurad is undefeated in his professional career and had secured gold for Russia during the 2016 World Sambo Championships. Santella, on the other hand, is a submission expert who has 14 out of his 20 career wins coming out of submission. The match will put to test yet again the long-standing debate between the effectiveness of Sambo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Sean Santella is undergoing training at the Miller Brothers MMA. Santella will be making his second fight for 2018. In his previous fight, he had gone the distance to win by unanimous decision.
Meanwhile, Velimurad will be making his first bout after his last appearance in 2016. Santella will definitely have the advantage of being active and his career experience. The bout is also a showdown between Russia against the United States of America.
