Ray, 28, is looking to bounce back from two straight losses to “The Irish Dragon” Paul Felder and Kajan Johnson. Before that, the popular Scotsman won five of six in the UFC, including victories over veterans Ross Pearson and Joe Lauzon.
Ayari, 26, last competed in May of 2017 where he lost a unanimous decision to welterweight top contender Darren Till. This will be the Tunisian-German’s first Lightweight bout after a 1-1 stint in the promotion’s welterweight division.
UFC Fight Night: Moncton is headlined by former light-heavyweight title challenge Volkan Oezdemir and rising phoenix Anthony Smith.
